| Description: | PrevMED is seeking a Vice President of Patient Advocacy to join its executive team in Maryland!
PrevMED is an innovative leader in providing portable oral health care to people living in long term care facilities. The company continues to grow and expand and is looking to add a VP of Patient Advocacy to its team. This position will aid in developing nursing home regulatory standards for the company in addition to building and maintaining clinical and personal relationships with executives that manage or own multiple nursing homes in the states which PrevMED serves. The focus of this position will be to promote a PrevMED dental/oral health partnership with nursing home executives with a goal of improving resident health and nursing home efficiencies along with reducing overall national healthcare costs.

| Duties: | We are seeking an innovative, self motivated, focused individual to join our team! This person will be responsible for facility acquisition and maintenance of health services throughout the states in which PrevMED is active. This person must be willing to become familiar with all standards of practice, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations on a Federal, State, and Local level regarding medical services in the skilled nursing environment. This person must be able to use this knowledge to aid in the growth and development of the company through relationship establishment and maintenance with long term care facility owners and executives. |
| Qualifications: | Requirements:
Bachelor�s degree
Nursing Home Administrator or Registered Dental Hygienist or Registered Nurse certification
10+ years of nursing home management or clinical experience
Demonstrated successes in Business Development
Willing to travel nationwide as needed
Preferred:
Previous experience promoting products and services to nursing home NHA�s or executives
Former nursing home executive
RDH or RN experience serving the geriatric population
Medicare/Medicaid billing experience
Present or former member of the state clinical association or state/national nursing home associations
Demonstrated sales training experience
Demonstrated writing and proposal generation/presentation skills
Proven �Road Warrior� abilities
